Holistic World Foundation began as Karma Foundation in 2016, born from our founder’s belief that life begins with karma and ends with karma.
For nearly a decade, Karma Foundation served quietly, guided by the simple Sanskrit principle that has crossed every culture and every language — what we give returns to us; what we sow, we reap. It was a name chosen with pure intention, by a founder for whom karma is not philosophy but practice.
As our work grew, so did our understanding of what we were building. Karma, we came to see, was one voice of a far larger truth. The same idea that every action carries consequence, and every human being is sacred is taught in every wisdom tradition humanity has ever known. Christ taught it. Rumi sang it. The Buddha walked it. Ubuntu embodies it. Omotenashi practises it. The ancient Greeks built temples to it.
In May 2026, we evolved into Holistic World Foundation — to honour the same universal truth as it is expressed in a thousand voices, by every people, in every land.
